DESCRIPTION
CareerSource Suncoast is a private, non-profit corporation with a Board of Directors, consisting of private business, economic development and education representatives, community and state agencies, and elected officials. Members of the board represent the diversity of businesses, organizations and trades that operate in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Our primary focus is to help businesses grow by providing workforce solutions for talent recruitment and development, and helping job seekers and workers manage their careers.

Entrepreneurs – CareerSource Suncoast provides business development resources for new and second-stage businesses, as well as those looking for an exit strategy. We are a member-based small business accelerator that supports the regional entrepreneurial community. Our classes, workshops, conferences, memberships, and networking events are free. We have worked with and assisted hundreds of individual entrepreneurs. Our drop-in co-work center offers tech-centric tools and an environment where you can receive expert-guided solutions to today’s challenges.

Helping Veterans Get Back to Work – CareerSource Suncoast is proud to provide priority of service to our veterans and eligible spouses, who have devoted themselves to serving our country. Priority of service means preference for available services and training funds for veterans and eligible spouses. Our team will work with you to find employment, acquire skills and education, plan a career, attend workshops and take advantage of many other resources.
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? A scholarship from CareerSource Suncoast is a great way to jump start your journey up the ladder! From certifications to advanced degrees, we partner with regional educational institutions to offer you a wide range of career advancement opportunities. The MySuncoast Scholarship program offered by CareerSource Suncoast provides qualified individuals tuition assistance for training at local colleges, technical schools and other approved providers. The scholarships can be used to cover all kinds of costs including books, materials, uniforms, or supplies for up to two-years. Upon completion of an approved training program, CareerSource Suncoast will help match you with jobs that are currently in demand.
