Company’s Community Involvement: The Colony contributes goods and services throughout the year to a number of service organizations such as Girl’s Inc., Boys and Girls Club, Women’s Resource Center, Florida Studio Theater, Mothers Helping Mothers, SPARCC and others. In addition, employees are encouraged to pledge time and talent to service organizations of their choice for which The Colony will make an in-kind contribution as well.

Aside from her responsibilities as President and General Manager of The Colony, Katie Klauber Moulton has devoted her time and efforts to many civic and charitable causes. Examples of her involvements include: past Chair of the Florida Lodging Association, Resident Board Member of the Florida Council of 100, USF Community Leadership Council Member, Member of the Sarasota County Superintendent of Schools Business Advisory Council and past Chair of the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
