Tell your business colleagues and friends!
Sample e-mail or letter: In case you haven’t heard about an exciting new initiative of the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County, I’m attaching the press release announcing the launch of the Sarasota County One campaign.

This effort is aimed at convincing local business leaders and government officials to buy Sarasota County products and services whenever possible. I’m going to do my best to do my part, and I urge you to do so, as well.

So pass it on! Sarasota County One: We’re in Business Together. For more information, visit www.sarasotacountyone.com.

Send an e-mail to your employees!
Sample e-mail or letter:  You may have heard about a new campaign called “Sarasota County One.”  Spearheaded by the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County, this effort urges Sarasota County business owners to use vendors and service providers who employ local people.

The point is that when Sarasota County businesses support other Sarasota County businesses, we help build a stronger economy and stronger community for all. The campaign also urges local government to patronize Sarasota County vendors and service providers, as well, spending our tax money here at home.

We’re going to do our part to live up to the campaign’s goals, and we urge you to do the same in your own daily lives. So while you may do your research on a Web portal, consider entering a local shop’s door. If you migrated to Sarasota County but kept your service providers “up north,” see what our businesses here have to offer. And so on.

As the campaign’s slogan says, Sarasota County One:  We’re in Business Together. For more information, visit www.sarasotacountyone.com.
