Verizon initiated a project in 2004 that will convert its copper-based network for consumers to an all-fiber network. This will transform Verizon into a broadband communications company and provide our customers with future-proof technology for voice, high-speed Internet and startlingly clear television. This network is currently being deployed in Sarasota, county and city.
