LEASING

Leasing is a contractual agreement granting the use of a capital asset for a specified time in exchange for an agreed upon payment amount. Operating leases require the return of the asset or its purchase at the then fair market value at the end of the lease term. Capital leases allow the lessee to purchase the asset for a minimal amount (generally $1) at the end of. the lease term.
