Pine View - BusinessWeek magazine named Pine View School in Osprey as the top school in Florida for Best Overall Academic Performance. The school serves gifted children from second through 12th grade. The school also landed in U.S. News & World Report's list of Best Schools in the Nation.

Venice High School - Newsweek ranked Venice High School as one of the top high schools in the nation.
